National Weather Service confirmed an F1 tornado developed over Lake Marion east of Lone Star in Orangeburg County before touching down near Hickory Top Road. The tornado strengthened, damaging trees and power lines near Old River and Clifton roads, and traveled east before it dissipated near Bill Davis Road.
