Princess Ball June 7 to kick off 2025 Bavarian Festival
The 66th annual Frankenmuth Bavarian Festival is one week way; however, the four-day event really kicks off with the crowning of the 2025 Bavarian Princess and her Court attendants.
The Princess Coronation Ball will take place on Saturday, June 7, beginning at 4:30pm and held in the Family Crest Room of the Bavarian Inn Restaurant, where the Festival was first founded back in 1959 to celebrate the grand re-opening of the restaurant as it changed from the Fischer Hotel to the Bavarian Inn. Inn owners William Tiny Zehnder and his wife Dorothy chose a Bavarian motif for their building.
The evening will begin with the 2025 Court introducing themselves to those in attendance. The trio of Kinzlee Karst, Olivia Miller, and Megan Weiss were chosen as Princess finalists at the Princess Tea back in mid-March. The Tea was also held at the Bavarian Inn.
Following cocktails and dinner, there will be a presentation to the outgoing Princess Haley Kindy and Court Mariah Averill and Grace Keinath.
Danielle Daugharty, the 2024-25 Frankenmuth Civic Events Council (CEC) president, will also make some remarks and discuss the highlights of the Festival. The CEC is the governing body of the Bavarian Festival, operated by an elected board of directors. .....
