The “Who’s Hungry?” program started out with meals once a week and grew to twice a week, and has since fed hundreds of local folks at no cost. Expenses have continued to rise, however, and the program is in need of donations.

At the most recent Village Council meeting, Monday, May 5, the group authorized a resolution that could soon grow Yellow Springs’ physical size by 84 acres — the latest effort of several in recent months to expand municipal limits.

Miami Township Trustees commit $127k to Tecumseh Land Trust
Ultimately — with a 2–1 vote — the three-member board approved a resolution to set aside $127,419 from its general fund to be used “for the exclusive purpose to fund [the trustees’] commitment to partner with the Tecumseh Land Trust to acquire conservation easements on all or part of the township parcels referred to as the [Welch] Farm.’”
