NEWBERRY COUNTY — A Honea Path man has been taken into custody in connection to a string of auto thefts in the Bush River and Belfast sections of Newberry, the Newberry County Sheriff’s Office announced Sunday.
The Rotary Club of Newberry held their annual golf tournament on April 23 at the Country Club of Newberry. During the tournament, participants were able to enjoy a bag lunch and barbecue supper along with a beverage cart. Participants also took part in a hole-in-one contest where a Chevrolet Trailblazer, courtesy of Stokes Trainor, was up for grabs. There were also ‘closest to the pin contests’ and optional drives by the NC women’s golf team.
