BRADFORD—On May 14, the Oxbow Unified Union School Board met for its first regularly scheduled meeting following the 2025 annual meeting on April 30. The proposed budget of $21,454,611 was initially approved, but voters later added $100,000 to the original budget to the food service programs that provide nutritious food to the district’s students.

BRADFORD—Bradford Elementary School music teacher Heidi Torphy grows rock bands. These bands will be showcased at the annual Rockfest on May 29 from 4 to 7 p.m. on the school grounds. Rockfest at BES started in 2018.
